As a passionate watch and strap collector, I struggled to find the perfect watch strap – one that combined the secure, low-profile fit of a 2-ring single-pass strap with the style of a double-pass 3-ring design. Determined to create what I couldn’t find, I spent years developing prototypes and refining designs. After countless iterations and over three years of testing, I finally perfected the Sifu Strap. Now patented in the U.S., EU, and beyond, it embodies my vision for the ideal watch strap.
Aiming to set ourselves apart from other watch strap companies, we took on the challenge of manufacturing our straps in-house. With no prior experience in production, we invested in our own machines and embarked on this journey from scratch.
Over the next three years, I dedicated myself to designing every detail – from clamps and forms to templates, laser programs, sewing techniques, and testing for thread, materials, and failure points. Even today, we’re constantly refining our processes to enhance both quality and production efficiency.
We were committed to making our straps ‘Made in the USA,’ but quickly discovered that building an assembly line from scratch was far more challenging and costly than we had anticipated. Major respect goes out to companies that are truly 100% USA-made. While we’re not there yet, we’re actively working toward fully manufacturing our own USA-made straps from the thread up.
For now, we are a small family-owned and operated business with big plans. We 100% design, test, and assemble every strap that leaves our shop here in Parker Colorado, USA.
